Think about these words for a moment. I’m sure almost everyone has seen them at one time or another. This is a core concept around which Deepak Chopra founded The Chopra Well.
Deepak’s quote an easy to digest distillation of a quote from Gandhi:

[/media-credit] Manifestation and Metamorphosis
“If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him. … We need not wait to see what others do.”
Be the change you want to see in the world.
Now think for a moment … just what is it that you’re projecting into the world?
Are you being proactive or reactive?
Do you let world events control your thoughts or do you rise above the events and send positivity out to the world to counteract the negativity?
Are you projecting love or fear?
Hate is not the opposite of love, fear is. Fear being in an unsafe world, fear of a lover leaving you, fear of the unknown, fear that you’re not in control. Look for fear behind every act of hate. Send love out to those who are fearful.
Abundance or scarcity?
The world is an abundant place, there is enough for everyone. If you look at the world with the eyes of scarcity, then scarcity is what you will have. We attract to ourselves what we believe.
Are you at war or at peace?
Nothing good ever comes from being at war with something or someone. The war against drugs, the war against poverty, the wars fought for land, wealth or possessions. Next time, instead of marching against something, march for something. Put the positive energy of supporting a great cause or the solution to a social injustice out to the universe.
“I was once asked why I don’t participate in anti-war demonstrations. I said that I will never do that, but as soon as you have a pro-peace rally, I’ll be there.” ~ Mother Teresa
That which we pay attention to thrives.
